This is obviously not the best of time for Super Eagles midfielder Eddy Ogenyi Onazi as he has find games hard to come by at his Serie A side Lazio.
23 year old Onazi last played for Lazio on the 3rd of February in a 0-2 loss to Napoli in the Serie A and the Nigerian is not on the list of the club’s injured players.
He is however expected to be in the list of players to be invited to the Super Eagles ahead of the double header against Egypt making his lack of games worrisome.
So far from the last time he played Lazio have been involved in seven games and his spot in the midfield appears to have been taken as he has so far made just 7 league appearances from a possible 27 although he was injured at a point.

Onazi has just 12 appearances to his name in all competition this season despite Lazio been involved in the Coppa Italia and Europa League.
His tally of 16 league games last season wasn’t close to the 29 he made two seasons ago when he was reportedly courted by lot of clubs.
