Hot in demand Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru has been invited to the senior national team of Nigeria ahead of their friendly game against Corsica.

As exclusively reported by this portal, talks over his invitation started during the week with coach Gernot Rohr particularly impressed by his goal scoring form for Eupen.

The 19 year old confirmed he has been contacted by the coach to report to the camp of the team, where they will play a game against Corsica Island on the 26th of May.

He is expected to travel with the team to Nigeria for their AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa on the 10th of June in Uyo as reported by this portal over the weekend.

Onyekuru has 23 goals for Eupen, and his form has lead to interest in his service from top clubs in Europe, with West Ham ahead of the likes of Everton after agreeing a fee for his transfer with Eupen.

On the issue of West Ham agreeing a deal with Eupen for his transfer in the summer, Onyekuru re- echoed‎ the words of his agent by confirming he will move to England, but didn’t give out the name of the club.

” I will be very honest with you, my dream is to play in England, and this is a chance for me to actualise it, for now I can confirm to you talks are underway for me to achieve my dreams”.
