Spanish La-Liga side Malaga are close to finalising the transfer of Nigeria Rio 2016 star Imoh Ezekiel, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The 23 year old who was ever present for Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympic where they won bronze is apparently frustrated with life in Qatar where he plays for Al-Arabi following his shock move two seasons ago.
Malaga cashed in on his unhappiness in Qatar, and with a year left to run on his current deal he could be allow to leave on a cheap by the Qatari side who risk losing him for free in 12 months time when his contract runs out.
This season, he has found the back of the net 8 times in 24 games despite playing as a winger in most of the games he has featured for the team as opposed to his role as the main striker.
