The Nigeria NPFL U-17 team secured a 3-0 win over their counterparts from Mamelodi Sundowns thanks to a brace from Kano Pillars boy wonder Nazifi Yahaya.

Yahaya picked up from where he left off in the group stages by scoring another brace against the South Africans in the semi final tie of the the Guateng Future Champions Tournament taking place in South Africa.

The 16 year old put the Nigerians ahead after just two minutes, taking advantage of a loss of concentration in the South Africans defence to open scoring in the game.

He made it two for Nigeria in the 25th minute when he put his effort past Sundowns goalkepper from the spot, after they were awarded a penalty for a high kick which lead to the sending off two players.
