EMENIKE SCORES BRACE,MOSES ALSO ON TARGET FOR WEST HAM

Emmanuel Emenike got his first set of goals for his loan side West Ham United on his first start for the team scoring twice while Victor Moses continue his fine form with a goal as they beat Blackburn Rovers 4-1 in the FA cup.

Moses who had an all round display in the game drew his team level in the 26th minute with a run from his half that he capped with a low shot that crept into the bottom of Blackburn Rovers net.

Emenike who had a quiet first half by his standards came to live in the 64th minute when he scored after a move that was started by Moses although Cheikh Kouyate provided the assist for the 28 year old first goal in West Ham colours.

Kouyate was later sent off but Emenike stole the show scoring his second five minutes to full time with a classic step over after beating the offside trap.

He severally came close to scoring a hattrick but good goalkepping,near misses denied the Nigerian the chance to go home with the match ball but his teammate Dimitri Payet made it 5-1 two minutes into time added on.

The victory secures West Ham passage to the next round of the FA Cup where Emenike will be expecting to maintain his goal scoring run.
