An explanation as to why Henry Onyekuru didn’t play for Belgian side Eupen in their 0-5 loss to Bayern Munich has been provided by the club.
20 year old Onyekuru has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce, CSKA Moscow and Hoffeinheim in this January transfer window after a whirlwind start to the season in Belgium.
The forward who has ten goals from 21 games this season has however confessed that he is hanging out for a move to English Premier League giants Arsenal missed his team friendly tie against Bayern Munich yesterday.
His absence lead to talks of an imminent departure from the team but a club source revealed to Owngoalnigeria.com that his absence has nothing to do with a move away from the club.
