“The coach (Chelle) watched him and was very impressed with the way he held his own against some of the big names he was up against in the game. It’s too early to say he will be given a chance with the Super Eagles but it’s very possible in the future”, a member of the backroom staff revealed”.
” Chelle didn’t start noticing him at the club world cup but this is a higher level and his performance will no doubt show he won’t be lost if given the chance with the senior team. Let us hope he continue to impress at the tournament and even beyond”, he concluded.
