Fresh from hitting a career high of 23 goals in a season Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has switched to a new agency in CAA Base and will work with Christian Emile, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Arokodare who has three senior caps for Nigeria has been rumoured to be on the radar of top teams in Europe largely due to his form in Belgium with Genk, and he feels switching to a new agency will help his desire of a summer exit.
Genk are reportedly looking for a fee in the region of €20m with club president Peter Croonen saying it will exceed the €18m paid by Southampton for fellow Nigerian Paul Onuachu. Already the club’s sporting director Dimitri De Condé has said there is a 99% chance of the 24 year old leaving in this summer transfer window.
That responsibility will now lie with Emile who also manages other super stars like Moses Simon, Mohammed El Neny, Kingsley Coman and rising Nigerian star Benjamin Fredrick among others.
Borussia Dortmund, Benfica, Besiktas and Bayern Munich are the teams said to be weighing up a move for the lanky forward, who have moved ahead of Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface in the pecking order of the senior national team of Nigeria.
