Based in the same city as the champions of Europe PSG, Paris FC’s recent promotion to Ligue 1 involves a significant ownership change, with the Arnault family and Red Bull GmbH becoming key investors.
By acquiring a minority stake became a stakeholder at the club with the Arnault family acquired holding a majority stake. It is part of a long term plan to make the club a force in Ligue 1, which starts with signing of key players.

Simon who is also open to an exit this summer will prefer a move abroad out of respect for Nantes, where he has spent the last six seasons but the temptation of earning thrice his current pay is very much heavy on his thoughts, and could possibly affect his decision.
The club also have their sight on bringing back Everton midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye back to the city of Paris after his failed stint with PSG. The 35 year old is said to be very interested in the project of the new boys.
