Reports emerging from Turkey has it that league giants Besiktas are close to reaching an agreement with Henry Onyekuru to join the team on a three year deal from Saudi Arabia side Al-Fayha , OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Onyekuru is high on the radar of the club, who are well aware of his history and performance during two spells with Galatasary. Talks between all parties involved in the deal have progressed nicely over the last few days.
They were reports of Fenerbahce trying to hijack the move, but sources close to the characters in the proposed transfer rubbished the claims as wide off the mark due to his past history with fans of Fener while he was at their bitter rivals Galatasary.
The 27 year old taunted fans of Fener on numerous occasions, making it hard for any prospective move with the management trying to avoid any backlash that could possibly arise from his signing.
Last season Onyekuru barely played in Saudi Arabia as he was out injured making him to play just four games. He is expected to be actively involved in full scale training and games from the 30th of June.
