Nigeria international defender Ola Aina is in no rush over his club future with his contract at Nottingham Forest due to run out at the end of the season, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Aina has been a mainstay of the side who are on course for European football next season since joining them from Torino two years ago. His stay was extended at the end of last season.
Forest have offered him a fresh three years deal with the option of an extra year, but the 28 year old is yet to commit to the offer and will make a decision at the end of the season.
His disposition has kept clubs who are reported to be keen on signing him like Manchester City waiting, but a solution is said to be closer than ever with his advisers studying if staying at Forest will be best for him or a move to a bigger club for a higher pay, but it could also come with limited game time.
Sources around Forest say they are confident of securing his service but are wary of the fact that he has other suitors, hence the reason behind his reluctance to quickly commit himself to a new deal.
