Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle will likely be without the services of two of his trusted forwards in Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman when the team begin their campaign in the four team Unity Cup in England, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Super Eagles will open their campaign in the friendly tournament against Ghana on the 28th of May, a date which means some players of the team Osimhen and Lookman inclusive will be rounding up their league games or just rounded up the season.
Chelle is already planning on working around their expected unavailability and has his mind made up on three players he will likely use in the attack for the game, where a win will see them play the winner between Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago.
We can exclusively report that the idea of the coach is to go with the trio of Moses Simon, Nathan Tella and Victor Boniface as all three will be available with their league expected to be over long before the game. Cyriel Dessers is also in with a chance to get into the team once again.
The list of players invited for the game is expected to be made public at the start of the week, and it will also cover the players called up for the other friendly game against Russia on the 6th of June.
