Freshly invited Super Eagles midfielder Papa Daniel is likely heading to a team in the South Africa Premier League (PSL) at the end of the season according to reports monitored by OwnGoalNigeria.com editorial team.
Formerly of Turkish side Adanaspor, the 23 year old who is currently a player of Nigeria Premier Football League side Niger Tornadoes is largely expected to move abroad in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Idris who was key in helping the Nigerian B team, otherwise called the CHAN Eagles qualify for the next Africa Nations Championship was rewarded with a first time call up to the main team by head coach Eric Chelle.
He was an unused substitute in both games which is the 2-0 win away to Rwanda and the 1-1 draw at home against Zimbabwe, but Chelle insists he has a future in the team if he continues to improve especially in certain elements in his game, which involves goal scoring with just two goals so far this season.
His next line of development could be in South Africa according to one of the leading publications in the country Kick Off. They cited his representative Abbie Rasimphi of Moscow Africa Renewal Project confirming that work is already underway to place Mustapha in the PSL next season.
