The coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle might likely play with a two man attack when the Super Eagles of Nigeria take on Rwanda in the world cup qualifiers later today, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Chelle who will be handling the Super Eagles for the first time later today has been training with the full compliment of all the invited 23 players for the game, which will be followed with his first home game in Uyo on Tuesday.
We can exclusively reveal that the coach who is a big apostle of the two man attack will likely maintain the same 4-3-2-1 formation he was known for in Mali at the AFCON, and also at his last job with Algerian side MC Oran.
There is the likelihood that he will maintain the same approach today with Victor Osimhen pairing with Ademola Lookman in the attack of the team. A situation that could see one of the favored midfield trio of Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi or Raphael Onyedika drop to the bench.
Moses Simon will keep his spot on the left if Chelle goes with his past ideas, and it will mean a start for Samuel Chukwueze on the right side of attack.
