The camp of the senior national team of Nigeria will open at the weekend ahead of their game against Rwanda in the world cup qualifiers, which will be played in Kigali, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Head coach of the team Eric Chelle who will be in charge of the team for the first time on the 21st in Kigali, before having his baptism of fire in front of the home fans in Uyo four days later against Zimbabwe has set up his team already.
Despite making public a 39 man provisional list for both games, the coach already has his final 23 players from the list. He has even picked his starting lineup after extensively analyzing the strength and weaknesses of Rwanda.
” Even the starting lineup is ready for the first game. That is what Chelle told us at the weekend while making final preparation for the beginning of the camp exercise. Unless something changes between now and then the starting lineup is already known to him and his technical crew”, a backroom staff revealed.
” He ( Chelle) arrived at the lineup after a three weeks non stop review of how Rwanda play and also monitoring players of the Super Eagles at their various clubs. Nigerians should expect something interesting”, he concluded.
