The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is battling to provide an explanation on why the players of the Super Eagles are yet to be paid their match bonuses for 20 games, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
NFF held a meeting with senior players in the team before the conclusion of the AFCON qualifiers, and promised to clear all outstanding debts before the end of the year but that didn’t happen leaving the players disappointed.
Ahead of their next engagement, which is the world cup qualifiers games against Rwanda in Kigali and Zimbabwe in Nigeria respectively, there is every likelihood of some players boycotting the games.
We gathered they are very angry with the conduct of the NFF towards their welfare given the fact that, it was in the news that funds were released by the Federal Government (FG) for all of their outstanding bonuses.
