Italian Serie A side have completed the signing of Nigeria international midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru after the player met certain conditions in his loan deal that will trigger a permanent deal, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Fisayo joined the Serie A side on a loan deal from Turkish side Hatayspor in the summer, with a clause that if certain conditions are met it will trigger an automatic stay for the 24 year old.
Capped three times by Nigeria at senior level, he has met the conditions of a permanent transfer which will see his transfer fee rise to €5.68m with Lazio paying €2m already for his loan.
A four year deal will be made official in the summer upon the expiration of his present loan deal, with the fee for his transfer expected to be paid in three different installments by Lazio.
This season he has played in three Serie A games totalling 169 minutes, and he is expected to add more game minutes later today when they begin their Europa League campaign against Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv.
