Less than 48 hours after announcing his departure from relegated English Premier League side Luton, Gabriel Osho has signed the dotted lines for newly promoted French Ligue 1 side Auxerre, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
25 year old Osho signed a one year deal and will wear the jersey number 3 according to an announcement by the club on their official website. He is part of their additions to the team that just won promotion.
Called up to the senior national team of Nigeria in March, a knock prevented him from making his debut for the team, making him still eligible for the land of his birth England but it appears his intention is to commit to the Super Eagles.
Comfortable as a right back or centre back , he made a total of 21 appearances for the Hatters scoring two goals in the process, in what was an injury hit season for him. It was also his debut season in the English Premier League.
