The future of Victor Osimhen at Italian Serie A side Napoli is still unclear as the striker returns to the club for the start of pre season training at the Castel Voltruno, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
He was among the first set of players to arrive at the team’s camp where head coach Antonio Conte will run the rule on the players at his disposal, following his appointment as the new coach of the team a few months ago.
Osimhen has been told he can leave the club this summer if a favourable option emerge to meet his release clause of €120m. It is reported that the club is even open to lowering the asking price in the event of a serious bid.
Sky Sport 24 editorial team reports that the Nigerian who arrived in Italy with his wife and daughter is open to the idea of staying at Napoli, reporting that he told his close friends that clubs are unwilling to meet Napoli’s asking price , with PSG the only club who he sees as likely making the difference in his future at Napoli.
