One cap Nigeria international midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has reportedly agreed personal terms with Italian Serie A side Lazio ahead of a proposed move from Turkish side Hatayaspor, OwnGoalNigeria.comunderstands.
Presently in the camp of the senior national team of Nigeria preparing for the 2026 world cup qualifiers games against South Africa and Benin Republic , Fisayo has been a subject of interest from the Italian side after an impressive seasons in Turkey.
He ended last season with eight goals and three assists in 36 games catching the attention of teams around Europe, but Lazio according to reports have struck an agreement on his wages and bonuses and will now look to agree a transfer fee with the Turkish side.
Asked about the rumoured transfer, the former Manchester City prospect stayed coy insisting that his representatives are the people handling that part of his career. “For now, I’m just focused on the international games ahead,” he told PUNCH Sports Extra.
