Arsenal Star Bukayo Saka Explains Why He Paid For The Foot Surgery Of 120 Children In Kano State

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has explained the reason behind his decision to pay for the life changing surgeries of 120 children in Kano state, Nigeria. OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Saka has been supporting the BigShoe medical charity outreach powered by Dr. Musa Ibrahim, who conducts the surgeries on the children. The partnership started in 2022 and it is aimed at treating children suffering from diseases such as inguinal hernias, umbilical hernias or brain tumours.

Responding to a letter of thanks from Dr. Ibrahim, the 22 year old explained why supporting the initiative means so much to him, and also took out time to give a mention to Kabir nicknamed Saka, one of the beneficiaries who can now dream of continuing his aspiration of becoming a professional football like the Arsenal star.

The England international who is of Nigerian descent   reveals he is proud of his Nigerian roots and feels blessed to be able to be of help to children in need.
