The January transfer window will slam shut tomorrow across the major leagues in the world and it means players wanting to make deadline day moves have to use the quickest means of transportation to their destination.
Nigerian players will not be left out of the frenzy which is expected to happen tomorrow and one who is on the brinks of joining a new team has already arrived the city of his new side, while he awaits both teams to agree on terms of the deal.
That player is Ligue 1 goal getter Terem Moffi who is leaving Lorient to fellow Ligue 1 side OGC Nice for a record fee in the region of €30m. He shunned move to English Premier League side West Ham and also another Ligue 1 side Marseille.
Moffi was pictured boarding a private jet which we were made to understand will fly him to the city of his new team, where he will undergo a routine medical before putting pen to paper on a deal which will run till 2027.
