When the draws of the UEFA Champions League group stages were made as many as six Nigerian players knew the teams their will be up against when the tournament gets underway on Wednesday.
However that number has been boosted by one following the move of former Kwara United striker Alao Danbani to Czech Republic side Viktoria Plzen. The 19 year old joined the club three days ago.
His first task will likely be at the Nou Camp when they take on Barcelona in their first group game of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. A game which he said he can’t wait to take part in.

While admitting that they go into the game as underdogs. He still insist that they have the edge as they will play without any pressure unlike Barcelona, who are under pressure to win the game as the favourites.
