One cap Super Eagles winger Marcus Abraham has joined Portuguese top division side Portimonense from second division side CD Feirense, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
The 21 year old who started his career in Nigeria with Remo Stars is moving to the top division side after his first season with the first team of CD Feirense following his step up from the U23 of the team.
Last season he scored 11 goals with two assists from 28 games and his form earned him a call up to the senior national team and he subsequently made his debut in the back to back friendly games against Cameroon. He played as a substitute in both games totaling 26 minutes.
A left footed player who is comfortable on either flanks or even in a role behind the striker, he has already travelled to his new base and was yesterday introduced to his new teammates.
