Paul Onuachu is one goal away from matching Wesley Sonck record of 30 goals a season at Belgium side Genk after scoring twice in a 2-2 draw against Antwerp.
He opened scoring in the 27th minute before adding another four minutes after the half hour, Antwerp pulled a goal back three minutes later before Genk lost all three points with a late goal in the final minute of regulation time quickly followed by another in time added on.
The brace saw Onuachu move one step closer to equaling Sonck’s 30 goals a season record which was set in the 2001/2002 season. Three months ago he backed Onuachu to equal his tally.
