Joshua Oluwayemi is one name that fans of English side Tottenham Hotspur have come to associate with in recent days following his step up to the main team.

The 20 year old has been with the first team for one week now owing to the injury forced absence of Alfie Whiteman. Oluwayemi has also impressed with the U23s in Premier League 2.

His international future is one which has also been discussed as he is eligible for England and Nigeria but he has made it clear that playing for Nigeria is an option he is keen on exploring.

He has already met with Super Eagles legend Kanu Nwankwo and some Nigeria
Football Federation officials and despite representing England at U15 and U16 levels, he won’t be requiring a switch of allegiance process as the level is seen as non competitive.
