I Have Disappointed Myself And Others- Watford Isaac Success Confesses
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Watford forward Isaac Success has for the first time admitted that he has the ability to be a better footballer than he is at the moment.

The forward was once upon a time the record signing of the English side but he hasn’t settled down with injuries, fitness and other off field issues slowing him down. His attitude has also been talked about.

24 year old Success last played for Watford against Everton and his last goal came in January 2019 against Newcastle United. He has been out injured for five months since rupturing his Achilles in an in-house friendly on the eve of Project Restart in June.

Ahead of his possible return to the team in January the forward admitted that he has not live up to the promise that made Watford splash big on him four years ago and vow to make amends when he returns.

“Sometimes I feel disappointed with myself as I’ve got the qualities and everything a forward player will need,” he said.

“I need to do the right things and wait for my chance. I think I’ve got lots to offer the team. It’s been disappointing not getting the chance [over the years] and being injured a couple of times when it was time for me to explode.

“I just need to keep working as there is so much more to come. It’s time for me to deliver for the team and the fans as they have been waiting too long. The wait is now over.”
