Nigeria international winger Samuel Kalu want to French Ligue 1 Bordeaux in this summer transfer window after he was subjected to racial abuse online by a fan of the team, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Kalu joined the team two summers ago from Belgium side Gent but injuries and fitness issues as well as family problems has made it hard for the 22 year old to settle properly with just four league goals to his name in 41 games although he has impressed with his all round performance.
The recently concluded Ligue 1 season is one he wil love to forget in a hurry owing to how bad he struggled but he still managed to score three goals but that appears not to have been good enough in the eyes of the fans of the team.
Despite the fact that he has failed to settle down, the club turned down a bid from German side Hertha Berlin in January for his services but they are expected to once again push for his signing when the transfer window opens with the player now keen on a move away from the team.
