Hot in demand Heerenveen wing forward Chidera Ejuke says he is been criticised unfairly by people saying he most times dribbles unnecessarily as he is not the type who does that.
In an exclusive chat with Owngoalnigeria.com, the 22 year old who ended the season which was cancelled on a high said his numbers are there for all to see and he most times dribbles when it’s necessary.
Ejuke ended the season with the player who completed the most dribbles in the season and he was also effective in front of goals with ten goals and six assists but he has also been criticised for dribbling excessively in some games.
” I really don’t get where the gist started from but I am a business minded football. I won’t dribble when there’s a chance to score or pass to my teammate. My idea is to dribble when I am in a tight corner or maybe still against teams who seat deep”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.
” I dribble when it’s necessary and most times because of the way my team play and the position that I play getting past my opponents is something that naturally has to happen. I always have a man on me as a winger “,he explained.
