Former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho was among the spectators who watched Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen net his eight goal of the season for Lille in their 2-2 draw against Nimes, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Mourinho who last coached at Manchester United sat in the director’s box for the game which saw Lille claw their way back to draw 2-2 after throwing away their lead.
Osimhen who was booked in the game proved his fine run of form in front of goal is no fluke with a well placed header, his second in consecutive game to help his team draw 2-2. The other headed goal he scored game in the UEFA Champions League 1-2 loss to Chelsea.
The goal also means the 20 year old head into the international break in confident mood ahead of the Super Eagles friendly game against Brazil on the 13th of September where he is expected to lead the line.
He scored his first international goal during the last break with a goal from the spot in the 2-2 draw against Ukraine and he will be hoping for more of the same against Brazil in Singapore.
