Coach of the Nigeria U20 team Paul Aigbogun has revealed his starting lineup for their round of 16 clash against Senegal at the ongoing World Youth Championship in Poland.
The coach stuck with same lineup that prosecuted their last group game against Ukraine which ended 1-1 and help seal their passage to the round of 16 where Senegal, their West African neighbor lie in wait.
In goal Olawale Oremade kept his spot despite his error leading to the only goal scored by Ukraine with a back four of Igho Ogbu, Aliu Salawudeen, Ikouwem Udoh and Mohammed Rabiu Zulkifilu in front of him.
It means reliable central defender Valentine Ozornwafor drops to the bench despite his return to full fitness after the injury that kept him out of their last group game. In midfield Tom Dele-Bashiru remains on the bench with Aniekene Okon starting.
Okon starts in midfield alongside the duo of Kingsley Michael and Nnamdi Oforborh with the trio of Effiom Maxwell, Success Makanjuola and Tijani Muhammed leading the line in attack.
