Nigeria U20 team came from a goal behind to draw 1-1 against Ukraine in their final group game at the ongoing Poland 2019 U20 World Youth Championship.
Ukraine profited from poor goalkeeping by Olawale Oremade to take the lead which they took into the half time break no thanks to a missed effort from the spot by Tijani Mohammed.
The tall striker won and decided to take a spot kick awarded to Nigeria with one minute left to play in the half but his effort was safely gathered by goalkeeper of Ukraine.
In the second half Nigeria emerged as the better team in the early exchanges and got rewarded for their persistent when once again they were awarded a spot kick with the aid of the Video Assistant Referee ( VAR) .
Tijani stood up once again but this time around sends the goalkeeper the wrong way to draw Nigeria level and send them to the round of 16 as one of the best placed third team in the various groups.
