A Polish journalist who watched the Nigeria U20 team in training says Italian-Nigerian goalkeeper Jonathan Zaccala can easily pass as the baby in the Nigerian team going by his looks.
In a chat with Owngoalnigeria.com, Robert Snow said the 17 year old who will be the third choice goalkeeper of the Nigerian team was a brave selection by coach Paul Aigbogun considering his frame and looks.
” He’s a baby. Too young to be 17, he looks 14 or 15 and I was pleasantly surprise to see him in the Nigerian team, kudos must be given to the coaches over his selection. The coach took a brave decision in picking him”, Robert told Owngoalnigeria.com .
Speaking on his abilities, Robert said he was however impressed with the agility, reflex, confidence and distribution of the young goalkeeper during the training session of the team that he watched.
