Former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte has asked Inter-Milan to sign Victor Moses as he get set to replace coach Luciano Spalleti as coach of the team after the final round of games in Italy this weekend, according to reports in Italy.
Conte converted the Nigerian to a right wing-back during their time at Chelsea with the decision proving to be a masterstroke as it helped Chelsea lift the English Premier League title in Conte’s first season at the club.
The departure of Conte and the subsequent appointment of Maurizo Sarri saw the Nigerian drop down the pecking order as the coach ditched the 3-5-2 formation of Conte, a situation which led to Moses leaving the club on loan to Fenerbahce during the January transfer window.
It appears the Italian coach is keen on reuniting with the Nigerian at his next club Inter-Milan and barring a last minute change of mind, Moses will be the first signing of Conte at Inter-Milan.
Chelsea will be open to the idea of letting Moses leave with reports suggesting a fee in the region of £15m will be enough to price the 28 year old from the Stamford Bridge outfit.
