Sunday Faleye – From Starring At CHAN 2018 To Playing Regional Football In Austria For Altach B Team

Tipped as one of the emerging talented teen in the Nigeria Professional Football League last season Sunday Faleye justified his high rating with an impressive performance at the 2018 African Nations Championship popularly called CHAN.

He was one of the positive of the Nigerian team that lost 4-1 to host Morocco ‎in the final game of the tournament even though he only scored once before injury ended his participation at the tournament.

Back then he was a player of Shooting Stars of Ibadan and many expected him to leave for greener pasture after the tournament, that did happened but not the way many expected.

He joined Austrian side Altach on a deal that will see him start from the B team who are campaigning in the third tier of league football in Austria and so far he has played in four games with a goal and assist to his name.
