Porto Opt Against Signing On Loan Arsenal Midfielder Kelechi Nwakali On Permanent Deal

Arsenal are looking for takers for Nigeria U23 midfielder Kelechi Nwakali who has failed to make the most of his time on loan to Portuguese side FC Porto, where he isn’t getting games for the B team.

As first reported by this portal, Porto won’t be taking up the option of signing him permanently at the end of his loan spell, something the player later confirmed while in camp with the Nigeria U23 team.

Although Nwakali said he will be returning to Arsenal in the summer before deciding on his next career move, the club are already looking at ways of cashing in on him with two years left to run on his deal.

His next move will likely be a permanent transfer and not a loan deal like the previous three seasons where he was loaned out to get sufficient game time to aid his development.
