Leganes – No Decision Yet On Permanent Signing Of On Loan Chelsea Defender Omeruo

The future on loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo appears to be certain to an extent with Spanish La Liga side Leganes where he is on loan keen on signing him permanently, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.

Omeruo’s loan deal has the option of a permanent transfer to Leganes next summer and the club have informed Chelsea of their decision to keep the 25 year old ‎at the expiration of his temporary stay with the club.

Leganes made the move early due to a clause which says they should signify their intentions of signing him permanently within a particular period before the end of his loan deal.

So far he has played 21 matches in the La Liga this season and although Leganes are battling to stay in the Spanish top flight, his performance has been one of the few success stories of the team’s campaign so far.
