Presently in camp with the U23 team of Nigeria, the 19 year old who is expected to file out for the Nigerian team against Libya later today has been linked with a move away from Villarreal if they fail to beat the drop.
Laliga side Real Betis are among the teams eyeing a move for him in the summer but they appear to be second favorite to sign him now following an inquiry by Bayern Munich over his availability in the summer.
Asked about interest in his services from top clubs, the failed Arsenal target who is enjoying a breakthrough season with Villarreal said he has offers to consider but his mind is firmly with his present club.
” I know the offers are and they won’t stop coming till the end of the season. For now, it means nothing to me as all that matters is how I can help Villarreal avoid relegation. That is my priority and I am very confident we can achieve it”, he told Nigeriasportsmouthpiece.org.
