Former Plateau United and Nasarawa United forward Philip Azango scored the winner for his team AS Trencin in their 1-0 win Polish side Gornik Zabrze in the Europa League Qualifiers.
Azango scored was ended as the only goal of the game and the winner in the 39th minute in the game where as many as three Nigerians played for Trencin with the fourth left on the bench.
Reuben Yem and Abdul Zubairu were the other Nigerians who were on for Trencin, same club that recently signed Peter Eneji and Yamen Tenton last week as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com. Emeka Umeh was an unused substitute in the game.
