Roma Nigerian forward Sadiq Umar says it will be an honour to play for a team handled by legendary England and Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard after he was linked with a loan move to Rangers.
Gerrard was appointed coach of the Scottish side last month and reports has it that he has made the over six feet tall Nigerian striker his priority signing to bolster the attack of his side.
Serie A side Roma are open to the idea of letting the forward who spent last season on loan to firstly Torino before moving to NAC Breda in Holland leave on another loan spell. Although he is keen on pushing for a spot in coach Eusebio De Francesco team next season.
