Coach of the national team of Czech Republic Karel Jarolim has revealed the game plan he used in masterminding Czech Republic 1-0 win over Nigeria in yesterday’s international friendly game.
The coach and his team were coming off a 0-4 thrashing suffered in the hands of Australia before the Nigerian game, and the lessons learnt helped them overcome the Super Eagles.
In an interview monitored by Owngoalnigeria.com, Jarolim said they exploited some weakness noticed in the Nigerian team in their game against England , but conceded that they were lucky not to have drawn the game on the strength of the second half display by the Super Eagles.
” Nigeria are suspect from high balls so we used that to our advantage after we noticed it against England before our game against them. As a team we adjusted brilliantly to the loss against Australia and it helped us”, the coach said.

” We were lucky to have claimed the win because Nigeria did very well in the second half but it also showed how we have organised ourselves after the disappointment of losing heavily against Australia few days ago”, he concluded.
