Samuel Kalu of Belgium side Gent who as reported by Owngoalnigeria.com is close to reaching an agreement to join a club in the French Ligue 1 has had a change of mind regarding his move to the French side.
Kalu has caught the eyes of several clubs in Europe including teams in England, but a move to the Premier League looked unrealistic for now which cleared the way for him to make the switch to the French Ligue 1.
Gent are already prepared to let go off the 20 year old wing forward for a fee in excess of €15m but it appears he is set to move to a club in the German Bundesliga and not to a French Ligue 1 club, Owngoalnigeria.com gathered.
The highly rated forward who was plucked from the famous GBS Academy in Jos has held productive talks with a German Bundesliga club and prefers a switch to Germany ahead of France.
