Bursaspor of Turkey and Super Eagles of Nigeria defender Willam Troost-Ekong has left his management team for UK based Stellar Group, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
We gathered Ekong teamed up with the agency which has Real Madrid super star forward Gareth Bale on their list, shortly before the last round of international games.
His migration to Stellar brings to an end, a nearly five year romance with his former agency, who were influential in helping him get the attention of the national team coach of Nigeria, when he made his debut in 2014.
He has since grown into an influential figure in the Nigeria national team, and wore the captain arm band in their recent 1-0 friendly win over Poland. His pairing with Leon Balogun at the heart of Nigerian defence has earned them the nickname ‘Oyibo Wall’.

Already he has started reaping the benefit of his move to Stellar with a recent endorsement deal worth million of dollars. His focus will however be on doing well at the World Cup to force a move back to England, where he started off his career as a trainee at Tottenham Hotspur.
