Arsenal Loanee Chuba Akpom Nets Match Winner For St. Truiden Against Anderlecht

On loan Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom handed St. ‎Truiden a 1-0 win over Anderlecht by scoring the lone goal of the game three minutes before the half time break.

Akpom joined the Belgian outfit on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season in what is his fifth loan spell away from the club since turning professional in 2013.

The 22 year old was playing his third game for his current temporary team following his loan move and he capped it off with his first goal for the club which ended as the match winner.

His strike ended a barren run in front of goal in a league game for the forward who last scored a League goal on the 12th of December 2015, while on loan at Hull City. Ironically just like his latest goal, his last league goal was also the winner for his team in the game.
