Former coach of the Nigeria U17 and 20 team Emmanuel Amuneke increased his winning run as coach of Sudanese side Khartoum Al-Watani after leading them to a 5-1 thrashing of Shabab Nasri.
Prior to the Saturday friendly game which was their third in a row as preparations ahead of the resumption of the league in Sudan, Amuneke has lead his side to wins over Shabia FC (4-0) and Karcoj Sporting ( 2-0).
A brace from Nigerian forward Kelechi Nweze late into the game helped the Amuneke tutored lads to put the game beyond the reach of Shabab Nasri, before they scored a late consolation.
The coach who lead Nigeria to the 2015 U17 World Youth Championship title in Chile is having his first stint as a club coach outside Nigeria, and it has been a case of so far so good.
