The Sporting Director of Norwegian giants Rosenborg has hinted that the captain of 2017 Nigeria U17 team Igho Ogbu would be handed a professional contract once he turns 18 years.

Ogbu will be ‎18 years old next month, and according to Rosenborg director Stig Inge Bjornebye , the Nigerian will most likely return back to the team on his birthday.

While confirming that the 17 year old who trained with the team in August is yet to pen a contract with the club, he also hinted that he will however do so once he gets to the professional age of 18.

Ogbu impressed the technical crew of the Norwegian giants during the time he spent with the team last year, and it is widely believed he has done enough to earn a contract.
