An explanation as to why coach Gernot Rohr rates Deportivo La Coruna 19 year old goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho has been provided by a member of the backroom staff of the Nigeria national team.
Uzoho is in line for his debut when Nigeria take on Argentina tomorrow in a high profile friendly in Russia as Rohr has been overtly impressed with the qualities of the shot stopper.
” He is well loved by coach Rohr due to several attributes he has seen in Uzoho which he believes modern day goalkeepers should possess if they want to go far”, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.
