‎Forgotten Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi is seriously doing his best to force his way back into the plans of the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr.

However since returning to fitness, Obi has not just regained his spot in the team but has been very impressive in the two games he has played with his goal against Cagliari helping them to a 2-1 win on his return.

Obi picked up from where he left off against Cagliari against Inter-Milan, one of the early season contenders for the Scudetto in Italy, but the Nigerian held his own against the high flying midfielders of the title chasers..
