Newly capped Nigeria senior international defender Ola Aina has reacted to his debut for the senior national team of Nigeria in their 1-0 win over Zambia in the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.
Aina was introduced with around 13 minutes left to play in the game, after injury lead to the substitution of first choice left full back Elderson Echiejile .
The on loan Chelsea defender who turned 22 today was solid for the duration he was on for Nigeria, and almost bagged an assist but Victor Moses failed to turn home his low cross late into the game, which sealed Nigeria’s passage to the World Cup in Russia.
Shortly after the game he took to his twitter handle and posted his joy at helping Nigeria qualify for the World Cup with a post which reads ” We’re going to the World Cup “.
