The last three session of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has provided Owngoalnigeria.com with an idea of some players who are sure to start despite stiff competition for their spot.

Daniel Akpeyi was strongly in contention to reclaim his spot as the Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper from Ikechukwu Ezenwa, but it appears that won’t be the case as Ezenwa has been very impressive during drills.

Ezenwa has remained with the team A throughout, and even had a defensive drill with the rest of the proposed back four in yesterday’s close door session, which was their last before today’s game.

Another area where competition is stiff is in the right back position, where on loan Chelsea defender Ola Aina provided stiff competition for Cyprus based Shehu Abdullahi.

However, the Anorthosis Famagusta man is sure to start ahead of the Hull City defender, who has mainly played as a left back during training session as Abdullahi has looked really good and indispensable in training.

From all indication it appears coach Gernot Rohr wil stick with the same line up he used in the back to back games against Cameroon, but a decision is yet to be made on who will start on the left of attack between Alex Iwobi and Moses Simon.
